Does anyone have a recommendation for what case to purchase for my Sansa Fuse MP3 Player? I purchased a snap on hard case, which says that it is for the SanDisk Sansa Fuse, but it is obviously too small.

Sansa Fuze+ restarting and taking awhile to read SD card
So I have a Sansa Fuze+ and I put in my 32 GB micro SD card which has ~20GB on it and it's been "loading card" and then restarting by itself for the last hour or so, I'm not really sure if it's doing that because of the large amount of memory at once, or if there's something wrong, so please tell me what's going on.

No root directory listed in the directory contents.
There is No root directory listed in the file folder for my Fuze +. The first file listed is named Audible.Is this where I download updates to? If not how do I get the root directory back?

Files do not appear on Sansa Fuze+
I have just downloaded 4 talking books to the Podcast section of my Sansa Fuze+' hard drive, but only two of them appear on the unit's screen, even though my PC shows all 4 are there. It's happened before and I think it's something to do with the ID3 tags - which is where I get a big problem. I've tried using the recommended bits of software (Tag & Rename, Media Monkey, MP3tag, ID3tag Editor etc) but I'm afraid I just get my head round any of them. Is there a straightforward bit of software that automatically makes any MP3 file suitable for playing on my unit with just one click, or should I try and find a less fussy player?

Sandisk: Please produce a new Fuze with the wheel again!
The Fuze + looks good, but it not good in terms of handling. I think many will agree that the wheel was much better.
And it's getting more and more difficult to find the old models for normal prices.
Please help us!

Sansa Fuze+ Isn't working with my New Ford Vehicle equiped w/Sync
On many of the reviews that I read on this board I would be able to get my Sync to interact with my Rhapsody song equiped Sansa 8 GB Fuze+. I downloaded some songs from Rhapsody, licensed the players, and then changed the USB setting to MTP and plugged it in. No go. It will index everything, shows the songs in Sync, but they won't play. Just sit at 0:00 on the song that I ask it to play. Rookie mistake?

media converter not converting
Okay so I have a fuze + and when I try to add videos via sansa media converter it freezes on zero percent for a long time and then when it gives me the report and the report says

I dont know why it wont give me a reason. Tried using vlc but didn't work. By the way the file format is .avi

Computer Doesn't Recognize Memory Card
I just added an 8 G memory card to my Sansa Fuze+, plugged it into the usb port and the card was not recognized. When I click on the Fuze icon, the card is not listed. What do I need to do?

My Sansa Fuze+ won't turn on
I kept trying to view one of my videos, and it turned off and wou'dn't turn back on. It had a full battery, but I plugged it into the computer anyway. On the mp3 screen it said full battery but on the the computer it said Critically low. It's been charging for the majority of the day now, and I unplugged it and it still would not turn on.
I already tried resetting it, and connecting it to a different port, but neither of those options helped. Any suggestions?

Double listed songs and hidden memory
Hi everybody, I read through many of the topics and did a search before posting this message.
I couldn't find any one with similar problem.
I have an older Sansa Fuze model BH0909BMTK-4Gb.
The other day I was uploading three more albums into my Sansa using Rhapsody.
Everything smooth and the Sansa once done the regular reset and powerdown.
Same day in the evening as I was to drive for two hours I powered it up. Now I had 110 songs from three albums each song had a dublicate. And I only have 800Mb left.
I deleted each duplicate and when starting the player it is running through each title on the screen, one title each two seconds.
But no music.
When linked to Sansa pc program the unit shows a G-drive using little more than 3Gb.
I can't access this G-drive.
Is it time over for this player or does anyone have idea what to do? I have tried with the going back to factory settings without any result.
Should I try formatting the drive? Or should I get a new one?

Red circle at top of screen
I have a red circle on the top of the screen. And the Fuze+ is only playing out of one side of the headphones.

fuze+ screen frozen on settings language
I have a fuze+ and the screen is frozen on settings language. The touchscreen at the bottom doesnt seem to respond at all. I have powered off hooked up to computer, ran the updater. When you power on it still is on same screen. Can you help? This is my 3rd Fuze+ and I've never run into this problem before. Thanks

Brand new Sansa Fuse+ will not turn on
Brand new Sansa Fuse+. Never used. Opened up the package this morning, plugged it in to charge it for three+ hours. Everything looked fine - can access the Fuse via my PC, access files, etc.
I unplug the Fuse player from the USB cord and all I get is a dark screen. I have tried pressing the on/off button. I have tried holding the on/off button down for 30 seconds, releasing, then pressing again quickly. Nothing. I get zero response.
Plug the unit back into the USB port, everything seems to work fine.
Any suggestions?

How to change default language
I just purchased a Fuse+ and when I was setting it up I tried to select English, fut my finger slipped and selected another language (Arabic??) I need to get it back to English. How do I reset? HELP!

How to get some Fuze features back?
I have been a very happy owner of a Sansa Fuze (without "+") for many years; it has proven to be very robust, even on an offshore sailing trip. I mostly use it to listen to audiobooks. So, when the Fuze+ came out, and it addressed my main wish: being able to rewind past the beginning of an audio file (and had a USB plug instead of the proprietary one), I didn't think twice and just bought it. But I was very disappointed; it is almost useless for my purpose, and end up using the Fuze far more than the Fuze+. My main problems are:
1.There seems to be no way to navigate folders. All audio files are presented in a long alphabetical list - hundreds of them! Switching between audio books takes several minutes and intense concentration, since the scrolling often overshoots.
2. With the touchpad, rewinding also takes a lot of time and concentration. This is a feature I often need, because when I'm listening to foreign language files, or when I'm interrupted, I need to rewind some 5 seconds.
3. It can not be used in your pocket: The controls have no haptic feedback, and are so sensitive that they easily get tapped from sitting in a pocket. (Unlocking also relies on visual feedback, and takes additional time; so it can not be used in any situation where you want to reply immediately to interruptions.)
Is there any way to get at least some of these features back with a firmware update? I read somewhere that a firmware update had improved navigation, but I already have 02.38_06A, which is the latest I could find by googling for "sansa fuze firmware update site:sandisk.com".

Where is the latest firmware?
I have a Fuze+, and my current firmware is 02.38_06A, which is apparently not the latest, since I can't browse folders. All I could find so far on this site was 02.38_06, which sounds older to me. I presume that if I overwrote my firmware with that, it would make matters worse!

Computer doesn`t recognize sansa fuze
I have my sansa fuze for over an year and no problem, but now I`m trying to plug it (in order to add songs) but it turns off and the computer does not recognize it. I have formated it , but again, nothing happened.
What`s happening?
I`m sure it`s not the computer because it recognizes other gadgets and memories, pendrives, external disks etc.
Please help! I`need to have some archives in my fuze again!!!

Unable to turn on
Fuze 4g slide switch seems to be stuck . I am able to slide it to lock position. When I connect to USB port it will charge and remain in on position. I am unable to slide up to turn it off. Left alone it will eventually turn itself off but I'm unable to turn it on again because switch is stuck. It is 3 years old. Any chance of salvaging it ?

missing memory after erasing voice audio using Macintosh
I tried to erase the "voice" recordings=several hours of them. They are gone but so is the memory attached to them. Now I am short at least a gigabit and can't add any more songs or use the voice to record audio. what to do? Must I empty it and reformat? i am using a Mac but even PC's do not detect the missing memory anywhere.

Today I have got a Sansa Fuze+ and I wanted to do a Manual update to 02.38.06. I did it following the instructions found in this official site (http://is.gd/RARFrV) but when I turn it on again, there were these black screen with small letters and I can not start my Fuze+ again!! what can I do to restore it? I tried it all. Only could start by pressing Volume Down button plus On/Off button but that is annoying. Please, help. Thank you. Luis from Argentina
